This graph shows the mean temperature for September against time-of-day for Ontario International Airport. Although 30 miles to the east of the Narrows the surrounding topography and climate are similar. The temperature in September is high, the upper line indicates conditions that will be exceeded on perhaps one third of the days, the lower line in the mean.
